Born and pursued her education upto 8th class in Hyderabad, Smt Aruna moved to Ajemr alongwith his Father who was an Army Doctor. She completed her schooling and graduation in Sophiya School, Ajmer. Completed B.Ed from Tilak College of Education, Pune. Served as Teacher inMaths and science for ICSE, CBSE schools over 25 years moving along with her Army husband, Brig P Ganesham all over the country. She served in Shriram School, Gurgaon and for two years she was head of NOS- for children with differently abled.

She has been an excellent mother and brought up three sons with good value system and two of them married. All sons are settled in India and abroad. Finally settled down for the last 7 years in Secunderabad in their own house, Smt Aruna continues to serve the society in her humble way.

When her husband Brig P Ganesham started Honeybee AP and palle srujana magazine in 2005, it was she who helped her to stabilize in the early days. She was the Editor of the magazine for over two years and ensured its distribution, maintaining the mailing lists, attend to all the phone calls and extend hospitality to the innovators and visitors at home all the time. Besides, she teaches soft skills to visually impaired children at Secunderabad, twice a week, which she is continuing even today.

Aruna is a very compassionate, samvedanasheel and pragmatic person. She is always ready to work for the needy people and involves a lot in Palle Srujana activity.
