Rashtrapathi Awards and Festival of Innovations held
from 7-13 March 2015 at Rashtrapathi Bhavan, New Delhi

• K Chandrashekhar, Dharanikota, Guntur dist has been awarded By President of India for his outstanding Innovation “Unique Brick Making Device”  On 7 March 2015 at Rashtrapathi Bhavan, New Delhi.
• On the same Day, DR R A Mashelkar awarded K Mahipal Chary, Rajupeta, Dist Warangal  for his very useful and popular innovation “Mahipal Weeder”  at the same venue.
• Godasu Narasimha , Muktapur, Dist Nalgonda  displayed  a working model of Hyacinth removal machine in the “Festival of Innovations” organized in Rashtrapathi Bhavan, New Delhi from 7-13 March 2013.His innovation drew maximum appreciation.
• Muvva Krishna Murthy from Veeranna Palem, Dist Prakasam  whose  unique and new art form of weaving a sari from paddy grass hs been highly appreciated by President of India and many other high dignitaries who visited the “Festival of Innovations” at Rashtrapthi Bahavan.
• Sristi Samman was conferred to:
• Smt D Yadeshwari for her noble contribution to those with poor vision by writing number of  precious books in Braille. She hails from Mahabubnagar Dist
• Sri D Ramiah from Khammam has been honoured for his sustained contribution over the last five decades for protecting, preserving and planting trees.
