Mridu has been working on developing holistic education curriculum for children and young people. Simultaneously, she has been working on understanding natural health systems, which has led her to initiating Nirvaaha, an organic grocery store in New Delhi.

Mridu has designed and facilitated workshops on life skills with adolescents, youth and teachers from rural and urban backgrounds with organizations such as, SIDH (Society for Integrated Development of Himalayas), Pravah, Jamghat, and British Council. She has studied Economics and Political Science from Duke University, North Carolina, US. Over the last 6 years, Mridu has been engaged in understanding Madhyasth Darshan (a proposal of holistic understanding of self and the entire existence: coexistence.in ), which forms the basis of her work on education and health
