Shodha Yatra 14th

NELLORE DISTRICT, ANDHRA PRADESH, DECEMBER 26-28, 2014

Dear Sir,
Most humbly I wish to say that it was a complete reinventing and true potential unlocking journey for me. A journey so short in time for us all together but has made so long lasting Impressions that would be difficult to forget. As we march on our path towards village-to-village it seems very evident that path (surrounding Agri. fields)  is equally important as the village and its people. The coexistence and harmony was clearly marked between nature, animals, and humans as i saw the care and commitment the people were taking of their fields and covering of cattle with mosquito nets, despite being subjected to mosquito bites themselves in the open.

The excitement to know about the products like solar pest sprayer, and the product presentations made on laptop was positively affecting me when framers in groups were discussing and telling each otherhttps://mail.google.com/mail/e/ezweb_ne_jp/330 about the product made by a co-farmer (innovator) with enthusiasm at the background. which indicates their willing to adapt new technological solutions, if optimized within their socio- economic and efficiency framework.

The wisdom, remembrance and fluency in poems were striking when a random old person (may be 95) appearing on our way demonstrates in his style non-stop... The old woman with a u shaped blue colored stand working hard to walk on its support was painful and thought provoking to create a better innovated equipment. The friendly company of a slat producer Laxman, a man with a great heart and willingness to change, explained us about the area and taught us how the slat is produced, about its processing mechanism and division of land components and profiles of land w.r.t to varying temperatures. The depth of Knowledge he has & shared, the risk management and decision making process he has in managing his Agri. business is truly a system by itself to learn and possibly can be adapted in our daily lives..  As we interact more & more he even expressed his desire to Ganesham Sir about the possibilities of joining his son into army for the country which was his desire way back in in his younger days.

Then moving on.... the in between STORY TIMES get together by Ganesham sir highlighting the various innovations, innovators behind it and the challenges they faced, the way they overcame those constraints was really Courage & Capacity building, their journey of innovation, a true symbol of  3P (PURITY, PERSEVERANCE, PATIENCE) & 3D (DISCIPLINE, DEVOTION, DEDICATION).

The energy of school children at different villages was ever refreshing and re-vibrating. The enthusiasm they demonstrated in participating in various competitions and their eagerness to grab a prize and their spirit of enquiry and questioning the nature, authority and society was really mark-able.
The questions are:

         1. Why the roads are not good in our village?
         2. What is the difference b/w village & town?
         3. Why trees are more is village compared to town?
         4. Why cant there be a Video Game in my Pen?., so that i can play & watch while writing..
         5. People should take care of the Orphan students more.. A girl asks this for her friends, both sisters are..!
Questions like this are sometimes difficult to answer......

The visit to the Child Ashram on the final day of the yatra was truly a temple to remember.  As every step we put ahead unfolded new surprises beginning with the standing welcoming and ovation by the students which made me feel shy for which i never received such a welcome in my life..  Its was emotionally charged and humanly plugged..

The gardens, crops, and neatness and above all the Universal Daddy for the students of the Ashram  and his journey into his dreams is really short of words............

And I would like thank all the Co-Yatris each one by name for evolving into a team and maintaining  a honey comb structure all the way and pouring the juices of knowledge, wisdom, friendship, fun, guidance, songs, events into each other jugs and bringing a diversity of shared life experiences together...

I finally thank Brig.P.Ganesham for opening up this widow of opportunity and showing me light on the other side...
With these words, I conclude my FIRST Chinna Sodh Yatra Experience.............

Hope we all meet Again & again.....

                                                    Thank you One & All.......

                                                                                                                                 Regards,
                                                                                                                                 M. Shailendra
