Simply Amazing. Amazing is the only word I could say when I recollect memories of the 25th Chinna Shodha Yatra. Shodh Yatra and its concept, the walk, Knowledgeable Brigadier Sir, the villages, Enthusiastic kids, Affectionate village people,  the Ghat Road, Beautiful countryside, fellow Yatris, the breaks and knowledge shared during the small breaks , hot hot  tea and   food just at the right time, everything about Yatra is just amazing. Even simply having water also felt great during the long walk J
The meeting point at the end of Yatra i.e. Lotugadda junction with its Greenery is simply beautiful; never knew there are such picturesque locations in our villages. This Yatra gave a break from not only the routine gadgets and pollution, but also to the thought process that we need good R&D centers and access to advanced technology to make inventions, made us realize that if we have the determination and empathy towards others, most useful inventions can be made with locally available resources.
I feel palle srujana is doing a great job by letting villagers know that   they can solve their own problems, they need not wait for the government or someone else to come and solve their small and big issues. Though it may look like it is spreading information about the inventions made by other villagers, it will surely ignite a thought among villagers towards innovation as they become aware that others in similar circumstances are able to solve issues on their own. I strongly believe it would definitely change the thought process and inspire many to initiate action towards solving their issues with available resources, more and more inventions will come up in future.
Though it may look like a distant dream as of now, I believe Palle srujana with its continuous efforts will bring great change in villages. I hope it will inspire many such organizations to come up across the country, and someday all our villages will become self sufficient.
