Eighteenth  Chinna Shodha Yatra

Date:  April 15-17, 2016
Location: Cumbum to Gannepalli, District Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh
Start: The Yatra commences at 8 AM on Friday, 15 April 2016 from Cumbum.
Ends: Gannepalli at 5 PM on Sunday, 17th April 2016.
Total Distance: Approximately 55 km.

To reach the Starting Point:
Cumbum (Prakasam Dist, Andhra Pradesh) can be reached by road or rail. Cumbum (CBM) is located on the Kacheguda (KCG), Hyderabad – Nandyal railway line approximately 300 Kms from Hyderabad. Trains are available from Kacheguda mostly passengers.

By road, Cumbum can be reached from Ongole, from Markapuram, and there is an APSRTC bus from BHEL to Giddalore at 2200 hrs which reaches Cumbum at 0545 hrs next morning. This appears to be most suitable transport to reach CUMBUM.  Many buses are available to reach Markapur from Hyderabad. Cumbum is around 30 Kms from Markapuram and is well connected. .

Return Journey:
On April 17th, 2016, yatries will be able to reach Cumbum by 7 PM. Return journey from thereafter may be planned after 8 PM.

Registration is open. Closing date: 14 April 2016 (Noon).

A nominal amount of Rs 300 per participant as registration fee is to be paid at the beginning of the yatra which will be used against the expenses of planning and reconnaissance by Volunteers of Palle Srujana

Actual Logistics and food expenses will be equally borne by the participants. This might be between Rs 600-800 depending on the strength.
